The main character of the film Struja, is an uncompromising rocker of the demo band called When Dirty Harry Met Dirty Sally. To get the money for their album, Struja is ready to do anything, except give up his rocker’s ideals. However, when they are offered a gig – playing cheesy lovesongs at a wedding, the rest of the band – Struja’s best friend the keyboard player Mario , a handsome singer and bass player Deni and an indifferent drummer Žlajfa – have some serious persuading to do in order to make Struja accept a compromise. He first refuses with determination, but once his ex- girlfriend, Anja , annonunces that she is pregnant with him, Struja suddenly has more serious problems than just playing at the wedding…
That’s when the real action starts and when a vicious policeman Siniša (Enes Vejzović), Struja’s parents (Žarko Potočnjak and Helena Buljan), Anja’s parents (Damir Lončar and Ksenija Marinković) and many other picturesque characters played by Stojan Matavulj, Hana Hegedušić, Robert Ugrina, Zvonimir Zoričić, Predrag Vušović, Mila Elegović-Balić, Dražen Čuček, Josip Bobi Marotti, Željko Duvnjak, Zdenka Heršak, Biserka Ipša, get involved in the lives of Struja and the band.
