It is World War II, and the People’s Liberation Movement is on the verge of collapse. Young poet Ljiljan Vidić joins the partisans and is tasked with writing a song with which the partisan band will attempt to win an NDH talent show and earn a performance at the Poglavnik’s reception, in front of Hitler himself, where they will have the opportunity to assassinate him and bring World War II to an end.
